Congratulations to All Saints Academy in Darfield on successfully completing the TT Kids Bronze Level!

During this programme pupils covered the key fundamentals needed to enjoy a great game of table tennis while staying active and socialising with friends.

The Bronze Level helped develop their ability to control and strike a ball with a bat, demonstrate the correct grip and ready position.

We are proud of everyone who took part — fantastic effort from all pupils!

Fantastic Performance by Mi:ssion TTC Barnsley in the Cadet National League!

Great performance from Mi:ssion TTC Barnsley players in the final day of the cadet national league. The team played against 4 teams and only lost to the Pudsey team who were the winners of the division. Mi:ssion TTC Barnsley drew against Rotherham ‘Scorpions B’, Ackworth TTC 2 and Sheffield 3.

Congratulations to Coulton King who was a player of the weekend - impressive 8 wins out of 10!

Congratulations to the talented pupils of Churchfields Primary School on successfully completing the TT Kids Bronze Level!

Their dedication, hard work, and enthusiasm for learning have truly paid off. This achievement marks an important milestone in their journey, building confidence and essential skills along the way. We are incredibly proud of their progress and look forward to seeing them continue to grow. Well done to all involved!

Cadet British Club League

It was a weekend of milestones for our cadet team from Mi:ssion Table Tennis, as they participated in their first-ever league event. All the players performed incredibly well, especially considering the pressure of competing in their first league match with spectators and opponents watching!

For some, it was even more of a breakthrough, with Colton King, Isaac Dyer, and Jacob Bramall each securing a win. Eva Kmiciewicz, Francis Needham, and Alicja Bodo played brilliantly and were a pleasure to watch. A win is definitely on the horizon for these promising players!

Every player from Mi:ssion Table Tennis Club made themselves and the team proud. Now that they've experienced their first round of matches and know what to expect, they’re definitely ones to watch as they continue to grow and improve.

Table Tennis Coaches CPD Event

Modesta attended Continuous Professional Development (CPD) event for table tennis coaches in September. The event took place at Carlton Le Willows Academy in Nottingham.

The workshop was attended by local and regional coaches eager to enhance their skills and knowledge. Led by expert tutor Gordon Fearn, the workshop provided a comprehensive learning experience, focusing on key elements essential for modern coaching. The event attracted a wide range of coaches, from grassroots to more experienced individuals, who were all keen to advance their coaching techniques and approaches.

Royal Air Force Table Tennis Camp

Mi:ssion TTC Barnsley coaches would proud to be invited to lead the RAF TT academy in June with players travelling from all over England, Scotland and Cyprus. Players of all ability from beginner to county level benefited from two and a half days of intensive coaching, focusing on all aspects of the sport. The academy was held in fabulous facilities at RAF Halton. Mi:ssion TTC Barnsley and RAF TT both look forward to further cooperation in the future.

International Women’s Day Event

Modesta had a pleasure taking part in the international women's day event in Manchester. There was a great opportunity in sharing knowledge and experiences of how to encourage more women in our fantastic sport!
